The inspectors also noted:
- “Pupils capacity to discuss and debate work in lessons is a key factor in their very good learning
- “Instances of low-level disruption are rare”
- “Bullying is very rare but when it happens it is tackled caringly, assertively and effectively”
- “The overall P8 score in 2017 was an impressive +0.57”
- “Pupils therefore attained, on average nearly half a grade more in each GCSE than their peers nationaly.
- “Pupils make very good progress in mathematics by the end of KS4”
- “Pupils capacity to discuss and debate work in lessons is a key factor in their very good learning”
- “Pupils with English as an additional language made very good progress”
