Dear Parents,
Thank you for all your feedback regarding the proposed changes to the 2016-2017 calendar. Each option provided different pro’s and con’s. Having taken all the feedback on board we will not be changing the original Christmas holiday dates. The primary reason for this is a number of our parents have children in primary schools as well and they are not changing their holiday dates.
Students will return on the 5th September 2016 and finish on the 21st July 2017.

Pink and Pancakes at St George
It’s been a week of fun and fundraising for the boys and girls of St George Catholic College. On Shrove Tuesday they “scoffed up” an impressive £250 buying pancakes in aid of the charity, Mary’s Meals. Afterwards the fundraising team got to meet Saints defender Cedric Soares who visited the school in recognition of their efforts to support the charity.
On Friday the school became a mass of pink as students embraced Pink Friday. Money donated from the fundraising ay will go support breast cancer care
